How to Redeem Codes

Redeeming codes in Backflip Obby Escape takes about ten seconds once you know where the box is. This guide covers the exact steps on both PC and mobile, what to do when a code refuses to work, and how to stay safe while you do it. For the codes themselves, see Active Codes.

Step-by-step: redeeming a code

1. Launch Backflip Obby Escape and wait until you have fully spawned into a stage.
2. Open the menu. Look for the gear or settings icon, usually near the edge of the screen. The codes field commonly lives inside this menu.
3. Find the Codes field. It is a text box, often labelled “Enter Code” or “Codes”.
4. Enter the code exactly. Codes are case-sensitive, so match capital letters precisely. Pasting is safest if you can copy from our Active Codes page.
5. Press Claim / Redeem. A confirmation message tells you the reward was added.
6. Check your balance. Coins appear immediately; boosts start their timer; skins land in your cosmetics menu.

If the menu layout has moved in a recent update, check the Latest Update notes — developers sometimes relocate the codes button.

Redeeming on PC

On PC you can usually click the settings/gear icon with your mouse, click into the code field, then press Ctrl + V to paste and click claim. Using copy-paste avoids the single most common failure: a typo. Copy the code straight from our list, paste it in, and you are done.

Redeeming on mobile

On phones and tablets, tap the gear/settings icon, tap the code field to bring up the keyboard, and paste rather than type if you can. Mobile keyboards love to add a trailing space or auto-capitalise the first letter, both of which break a code. After pasting, tap just to the right of the last character and delete any stray space before claiming.

Why your code is not working

Almost every “code not working” report comes down to one of these:

• Typo or wrong case. Codes are case-sensitive. FlipDay and flipday are different.
• Trailing space. A space pasted after the code makes it invalid. Delete it.
• Already redeemed. Each code is single-use per account; you cannot claim it twice.
• Expired. If a code worked yesterday and not today, it likely expired. Confirm on Expired Codes.
• Region or device hiccup. Rejoin the game and try once more before giving up.
